Shawls & Such

I enjoy knitting lace: scarves, shawls, doilies, baby blankets and such. There is just nothing as enjoyable to me to knit than lace patterns, therefore this blog will only be about knitting lace or lace knitting, whichever I happen to be working on at the time. 

At present I am finishing up a Pi Shawl I started some time ago out of a variegated blue sock yarn from Araucania. I love knitting with this yarn, and wearing shawls knitted from it, because it is so resistant to pilling. Nothing is so irritating than to have to remove those annoying wooly pills from something you have put so much time and effort into creating.
